Animal Ask operates through a fiscal sponsorship with Players Philanthropy Fund (Federal Tax ID: 27-6601178), a Maryland charitable trust with federal tax-exempt status as a public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to CE are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.

Service is the animalask.org website, related programmes operated by the Animal Ask team.
Personal Data means data about a living individual who can be identified from those data (or from those and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession).
Usage Data is data collected automatically either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

Special Category Data (also known as Sensitive Personal Information)
Unless you specifically provide it to us while applying for or using our Service, we do not collect special category data about you (this includes details about your race or ethnicity, religious or philosophical beliefs, sex life, sexual orientation, political opinions, trade union membership, information about your health and genetic and biometric data, or information about criminal convictions and offences). In cases where you may decide to provide special category data (for example when applying for assistance from our in-person team) we collect this data under the legal basis of consent and you will be prompted to give consent for the processing of such data for the relevant purpose.

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA UNDER GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR)
Animal Ask may process your Personal Data because:

RETENTION OF DATA
Animal Ask will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes.
